PokeGen Wiki:About

The Pokégen wiki is an all inclusive guide for you to figure your way around the Pokégen RPG, and its features. Currently the Wiki is being constructed and edited by; zZshadowZz and Hoopy. These users will edit on behalf of others if they see fit, so do reach out to them through personal messages on discord, should you think of a necessary edit.

Rules and Guidelines

Respectful Conduct

   Treat all users with respect and courtesy.
   Avoid offensive language, personal attacks, and harassment.
   Be constructive and polite in discussions and debates.

Content Guidelines

   Ensure all contributions are relevant to the topic of the wiki.
   Do not post inappropriate or explicit content.
   Avoid adding false or misleading information.
   Do not post any bugs, abusable feature or methods of cheating.

Citations and References

   Provide reliable sources for any factual information added(if necessar).
   Do not plagiarize content from other websites (if any relevant). 

Editing and Contributions

   Edit content thoughtfully and with care to maintain the quality of the wiki.
   Use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
   Do not delete others' contributions without reason. Deletions can still be reverted

Images and Media

   Upload only relevant images and media.
   Ensure all media is free to use or properly credited.
   Do not upload copyrighted material without permission.

User Accounts

   Create only one account per user.
   Do not impersonate other users or individuals.
   Do not include potential personal information (e.g. real name) in your profile or userpage. 
   Notify a Staff member ingame or on discord to lift falsely taken security actions.
   Keep your account information secure and do not share it.

Spam and Advertising

   Do not post spam or irrelevant links.
   Do not post links to other sites than links to pokegenrpg.com or mediawiki guides
   Avoid promoting products, services, or websites without permission(from those and from the wiki).

Discussion Pages

   Use discussion pages to communicate and collaborate constructively.
   Stay on topic and avoid off-topic conversations.
   End every Discussion comment with ~~~~
   Be respectful and considerate in your comments.

Signature

   You may customize your signature which is added after every every comment on discussion pages using ~~~~ provided by Mediawiki formatting features or Files
   Files used in signatures must be on the wiki and relevant for it.
   Files in signatures have to be scaled down to at max 40px

Vandalism

   Do not engage in vandalism, including the deliberate addition of false information, deletion of content, or insertion of irrelevant material.
   Report any vandalism to the administrators immediately.

Administrator Authority

   Respect the decisions and authority of the wiki administrators.
   Follow any additional guidelines or instructions provided by the administrators.
   If you disagree with an administrative action, contact Gin.A on discord.

Reporting Issues

   Report any issues, inappropriate content, or rule violations to the administrators.
   Do not engage in arguments or confrontations with violators; let the administrators handle it.

Legal Compliance

   Do not post any content that violates intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal rights.
