Happiness
The happiness of a Pokémon can be viewed on their Pokémon profile by clicking their names in a trainer's box or roster.
Altering Happiness
1. Every Pokémon starts at 88 happiness.
2. Trainers can feed up to 2 berries per day to their Pokémon. The amount of happiness depends on the berry
3. If your buddy Pokémon participates in a battle you win, it will earn 1 happiness up to 15 times per day(previously 10).
4. If your buddy Pokémon faints during a battle, it will lose 1 happiness
5. If you use a mithril herb, your Pokémon will lose 1 happiness.
6. Each pokémon loses 4 happiness per day. Doesnt decrease lower than 88 and stops decreasing after 75 days of inactivity.
7. Happiness is reverted to 88 after trading
Buddy
A pokémon gains benefits based on its happiness called Buddy Bonus.

- only earned from battling/catching while Buddy is in the first Roster slot.It does not need to participate in the battles in order to activate this effect.
Berry Values
Upon feeding, some pokémon may receive different happiness amounts than others. Likings vary by gender of the Pokémon. If the Pokémon likes the berry, it will receive more happiness from it.

North Hall
North Hall is an upcoming feature. Happiness is needed to get rewards. It still has to be fully released.
Evolution
Alongside evolution evolution level, a few Pokémon have to obtain a minimum happiness amount before evolving.
