Abilities are featured on only a few Pokémon. They provide useful boosts to the whole Roster and not only the owner of the ability itself. Roughly 5% of all Pokémon are going to receive one

Requirements

1. The holder of the ability has to be in Roster Slot 6.
2. Enemy rosters don't activate their abilties.
3. The level of the owner of the ability has to be at least 40 % of the highest level in your roster

Abilities

Formation All Pokemon in the team gain 6% HP and 6% speed. Falinks
Rough Skin Reflects 20% of damage taken back at the foe. Druddigon, Sharpedo, Mega Sharpedo
Merry Aura 50% chance of doubling happiness gained by buddy Pokemon from battling. Munchlax (Santa), Snorlax (Santa)
Slush Rush 50% increase in speed for all Snow Pokémon in the team. Cetoddle (Santa), Cetitan (Santa)
Shields Down Below 40% max hp increase 15% speed 6% Attack and Sp. Atk by 6% each turn, going up to 30% higher than cap. Minior
Gem Shield Only works once on each of your Pokémon per battle. The first opponent move dealing more than x damage, does X damage. X is a % of the maximum HP of the currently active Pokémon and based on the number of Sand Grains collected by the Trainer.
