Traits

Normal

Normal
No Normal form available


Normal Pokémon do not receive any additional stat changes due to their typing. Normal Pokémon get their base stats only. They however gain 5% more experience.

Normal Pokémon can be obtained through map catching or RPG rewards.

Shiny

Shiny
No Shiny form available


Shiny Pokémon receive an additional +8% boost to all stats except for speed, which gains a +4% boost. So if a Pokßémon has 100 base Speed as a normal variant, it's shiny variant will have 104 base speed.

Shiny Pokémon can be obtained by the Shiny Exchange Center, PokéMerchant and some Challenges.

Snow

Snow Pokémon naturally have +17% HP, +12% Defense, and +12% Special Defense. They do however have 6% lower speed which makes snow Pokémon slow tanks. They also utilize higher amounts of energy.

Snow Pokémon can be obtained through weekly promos, on maps, or prizes for challenges.

Midnight

No Midnight form available


Midnight Pokemon have the most altered stats in terms of number of changes. Midnight Pokemon have +10% Speed and +20% Attack and Special attack, however, they also have -15% Defence and Special defence. This means if a normal variant has 100 for all of it's stats, a Midnight Variant would have 110 speed, 120 Attack and Sp.Attack, but 85 Defence and Sp.Defence.

Midnight Pokemon can be found in trap boxes and special RPG events

Golden

Golden variants receive the biggest boosts to stats. Golden variants receive +16% boost to all stats, except for speed, which gains a +8% boost.

Golden Pokémon can be obtained through certain challenges, special RPG events or through Goldenising in game by using the Midas lab.

Dyna

Dyna
No Dyna form available


Dyna Pokémon receive no base additional stats, until you apply them using Dyna candy. Dyna Candy can be obtained by doing daily dyna battles, or donating a Dyna Pokémon through the Donation Center. Dyna Pokémon are the only type that can be Gigantamaxed, using a Gigamax Band.

Dyna Pokémon are obtained through Dyna Raids

Types

Types have the same weaknesses and resistances as in normal Pokémon games except immune Pokémon getting hit by 25% of the damage. Moves matching a Type of the user, gain a 50% damage boost, called STAB(same type attack bonus)

Shiny

X

Normal
No Normal form available


X types have no weakness and no resistance and gain no STAB. The only known Pokémon of this type currently are Felinger and due to the introduction of the Stellar type later which works similar also Terapagos (Terastal) and Tegapagos (Stellar).

Nuclear

Nuclear moves hit every type super-effective except Rock(1x), X(1x), God(1x),Steel(1x), Normal(0.5x) and Nuclear(0.5x). Nuclear types get hit very effectively by Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Ice, Dark, Dragon, Ground and Bug moves.

God

Like Type X no weaknesses and resistances. Their only known Pokémon is the monster Gigantrum and they only have 2 move using the type. Heaven Scorching Light, the signature of Ultra Necrozma and the unobtainable move Awakening Roar

Gender

During some special events Pokémon can be obtained with a different gender from the 3 regular ones. E.g. Suicune with Female or Male gender was obtainable from Monster Park.

Different genders have an effect on the happiness from berries consumed.

Additional to Male, Female and Genderless, there are 2 more possible rare Genders affecting the Pokémon.

Gender X

Gender X Pokémon gain 12% more experience from battles.

Gender X Pokémon can be obtained with low chance via Breeding, the Shiny Exchange Center, Promos and various RPG Events

Purified

Golden
No Golden form available


Purified Pokémon gain a 15% to all stats except HP and 10% less battle experience.

They are obtained from RPG Events or after completing 5 Faction Quests a Pokémon that is changed alongside promo/trap box has a chance to be caught purified from the maps and is not restricted to Pokémon normally obtained on those maps.
