A player can choose a faction to belong to. The choice can have an impact on your game experience.

Quests

Members of a faction can complete quests to increase their trading cap, earn increasing Reputation amounts, catch swarm Pokémon with Purified Gender and unlock more items to buy in the Faction Shop. For a list of the Quests, see the pages of the teams.

Turf War

Faction Members can battle the Guardians or the grunts of the opposing team to earn medaillons to exchange them in the Faction Shop.

The amount of earned medaillons can be increased by boosting the power of the guardians for ingame currency.

Turf Winner Benefits

The winning faction of the last turf war receives several benefits:
1. The Incubator Cost in the Advanced Shop is decreased
2. 10% higher money gain from battles.
3. The ability to make use of the Turf War Element which changes about fortnightly. Members can activate the medaillon bonus in the faction shop so their Pokémon of the same type as th turf war element receive a massive experience gain boost in exchange for 5 medals per battle used automatically.
4. Members of the winner faction are able to buy special Pokémon from the PokéMerchant. Each faction got their own set of Pokémon.
